Hurricane Ike
I have gotten absolutely nothing accomplished today. I have spent most of the day in front of the TV watching hurricane updates and footage. I find it fascinating to watch, but very scary when you have friends and family in the path. My sister and her family are in Houston and my cousin and her family are in League City. We are praying for everyone!

What's the word from Amy and family? Everyone has been in our prayers.
I have not talked to Amy yet, but I do know they finally got their power restored. I think they have some roof damage. My cousin and her family are also ok. They have roof damage, but no water in their house (as of this morning).
I know you were worried about us. We only lost our back fence and had a small leak in our kitchen. The fence is now almost repaired.
